GENERAL INFO:

Join us for a memorable Philippines island scuba diving day trip to Balicasag or Pamilacan Island to experience the crown jewels of our region’s reef.  Our speedboat will transport you to the large and comfortable Bangka boat where you’ll spend the day. On the spacious Bangkas, you’ll find coffee and tea, fresh drinking water, lounging areas, and a sun deck. Each day trip features three dives: two at the islands, and one at Panglao.

In the Balicasag and Pamilacan Marine sanctuaries, you’ll have opportunities to see plenty of turtles, large schools of jackfish, big mouth mackerel and barracuda, as well as colorful and rare animals like ribbon eels, flamboyant cuttlefish, and nudibranch.

Island day trips also include a local-style lunch, with either a local stew like curry or adobo, or fresh fire-grilled meats and vegetables with rice. Vegetarian options are available. Please advise on any dietary restrictions when you book your trip.

TRIP DETAILS:

Arrival Time: Arrive at the dive center 7:45 am. Boat will leave promptly at 8:00 am. Guests who have not prepared equipment the day before will need to arrive at 7:30.

Return Time: Between 2:00 and 3:30 pm, depending on dive and weather conditions.

Itinerary: Three dives in total with minimum one hour surface interval between each dive.

Included: Coffee, tea, drinking water, lunch and morning snack.

Not Included: If you desire soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, additional snacks, photography or video, these should be self-provided.

Balicasag Island

On your trip to Balicasag island, you can see vibrant corals and marine life along sloping reefs which circle the small round island. This marine sanctuary offers opportunities to see several kind of corals, fauna like green sea turtles and schools of jackfish. This beautiful marine sanctuary is located about a 30-minute boat ride from our dive center. You’ll not soon forget this magical diving experience!

Pamilacan Island Day Trip

On your trip to Pamilacan island, dive along the steep sloping reefs that ring the island. Check out large hard and soft corals teeming with fish and rare macro life. You’ll also have opportunities to see sea turtles and schools of barracudas. It is located about a 40-minute boat ride from our dive center on Alona beach. On the way to and from the island it’s also possible to see dolphins if you are lucky!
