Coming to Alona Beach

Alona Beach is located in Panglao, a island connected to Bohol Island by two road bridges. Tabligaran airport and Tabligaran port are located in Tabligaran City, the capital of Bohol province, just 20 kilometers away from Alona Beach.

By plane from Manila to Tagbilaran

There are three airlines offering direct flights between Manila and Tagbilaran:

By ferry from Cebú to Tagbilaran

Cebu International Airport is located in the city of Lapu-Lapu, in Mactan Island, not far from Cebu city. A taxi can take you from the airport to the port in 30 to 45 minutes for around 200 php. Remember that you should go to port number 1.

You must buy your tickets at the port from one of the companies covering the route Cebu-Tagbilaran:

From Tagbilaran to Alona Beach

Alona Beach is located just 20 kilometers away – 30 minutes- from Tagbilaran. Whether arriving by ferry or by plane you can go to Alona Beach by tricycle, the typical Philippine motorbike with sidecar, for around 200 php, by private car for around 500 php, or by taxi… if you can find one. You can also take a jeepney, but you must go first to the “bus station” and wait for the next one. We don’t recommend this option.

Ask the driver to take you to Bohol Divers Resort. We are located downstairs as you enter the resort, right in front of the beach.
