For most people, the PADI Open Water course is the best first step toward becoming a scuba diver. Your instructor will begin with shore lessons, lead you in confined water skills practice, and then let you put your skills to the test on a series of dives in our beautiful local reef as you take your PADI Open Water Course here in Bohol. Open Water certification prepares you with the knowledge and skills you need to dive independently in a variety of conditions, and is recognized everywhere in the world.

Minimum Age:
Open Water Junior: 10 years old (Junior certified divers must always dive with an adult. For children 10 and 11 years old, maximum depth is 12 meters.)
Open Water: 15 years old
Prerequisites: No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary. You should be in reasonably good physical health in order to participate safely. Students should be able to float comfortably on their back for 2 minutes and swim 300 meters and with a mask, snorkel and fins before beginning the course. (This is a PADI requirement.)
