Depth:
8-40 meters

Description:
Due to its great biodiversity, this is one of the most famous dives in Balicasag  Island. It gets its name from the black corals, found at a depth of 35 -45 meters. We begin the dive in a shallow sandy area with plenty of coral formations and sea grass where green turtles can often be found eating, full of macro life and reef fish. We descend following the slope, which goes down to 40 meters. This is where we can often see the famous large school of jackfish (big eye trevally) who swoop and surround us in a huge tornado. If we are lucky, we can also find a few white tip sharks resting in the small caves. If there is a current, we will do a drift dive (this is most likely).

Marine life:
We can find lots of coral heads, turtles, jackfish, parrotfish, damselfish, anemonefish,  barracuda, large grouper, triggerfish (be careful, between May and July they can be very aggressive), frogfish, etc.
