Scuba Diver certification could be right for you if you’d like to become a certified diver but do not have enough time to gain your Open Water certification. In this program, you’ll start your progress towards Open Water certification by completing a portion of the classroom theory and confined water (shallow water) skills lessons required for Open Water certification, as well as two open water dives.
With a Scuba Diver certification, you can complete remaining skills lessons towards your Open Water at a later date and with any PADI dive center. With this certification you will be qualified to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Divemaster or Assistant Instructor to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet).

Minimum Age: 10 years old
Prerequisites: No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary. You should be in reasonably good physical health in order to participate safely. Students should be able to float comfortably on their back for 2 minutes and swim 300 meters and with a mask, snorkel and fins before beginning the course. (This is a PADI requirement.)
